KazMunaiGas National Oil Company Q1 2011 results

KazMunaiGas National Oil Company unveiled its performance indicators for the Q1 2011. Oil and condensed gas production for the period made up 5.4 million tons, 2% up against the same period of 2010, Profinance.kz reports. Oil transported via main pipelines totaled 16.4 million tons. Maritime transportation volumes stood at 2 million tons, 11 % up. Gas transportation volume totaled over 25.5 billion cubic meters, only 1% up against the like period of 2010. For the first 3 months KazMunaiGas group of companies (including Rompetrol Group) processed a total of 3.6 million tons of oil. KazMunaiGas National Oil Company increased its profit in the Q1 2011 by 78% [to $808 million] as compared to the like period of 2010. Revenues for the period totaled $4.2 billion, 18% up against the like period of 2010. Taxes for the period made up $760 million, 9% up against the like period of 2010.
