Kazakhstan citizens wrote an appeal to USA authorities calling for a thorough and fair investigation on the death of Karaganda citizen Kirill Denyakin, Tengrinews.kz reports. The letter is published on Your Vision website. The authors write that the text of the letter has been approved by Kirill's parents. “We do not seek revenge; we only ask for justice. We are calling for a thorough and unbiased investigation into our countryman’s death. Indeed, the people of Kazakhstan do not believe the American people will allow the murder of an innocent man to go unpunished. We appeal for your support in ensuring that justice will be served. Faithfully yours, citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the appeal reads. The letter has a list of Portsmouth authorities' addresses attached. The authors are asking the ones not indifferent to this accident to send the English version of the letter to e-mail addresses of American authorities. Kirill Denyakin, 26, was shot in Portsmouth on April 23. He was unarmed. He worked as a cook in Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel. Independent experts said that the policeman shot him 11 times. The police officer’s name is still not disclosed. With the support of Kazakhstan Foreign Affairs Ministry and Kazakhstan Embassy in the United States Denyakin's body was transported to Karaganda on May 5. He was buried in Karaganda. Denyakin's family is going to claim a financial compensation from US authorities. By Roza Yessenkulova
