A special website aimed at countering terrorism opened in Kazakhstan Internet segment, BNews.kz reports. Counter-terror.kz website will regularly post different materials, including analytical and operative ones, on anti-terrorist topics. Currently the website contains information on countering terrorism and extremism in Kazakhstan, as well as in the neighboring countries and the world. Besides, it contains information on the most famous terrorist organizations of the world, well-known special operations in Central Asia and terrorist attacks at the territory of Kazakhstan. There is a block about Soldiers of Khalifat as well. Soldiers of Khalifat is the terrorist organization that claimed responsibility for several terrorist attacks at the territory of Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan Agency for Religious Affairs says that the project will help warn Kazakhstan residents from participation in extremist groups by provision of objective information about terrorist threat.
