Yandex search engine defined the most popular travel destinations of its users, Yandex reports. As of March 2011, Almaty and Astana users were more interested in trips to UAE and China while Abkhasia and Finland are the least popular destinations. The next travel destinations are Caucasian Black Sea, Turkey, Moscow, Crimea and St. Petersburg. Most of the users are interested in Moscow and St. Petersburg for business trips and Crimea, Caucasus and Turkey for vacations. When users search for the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Cyprus, Montenegro and Maldives, they are usually more interested in the country as a whole, while is case of Estonia, Germany, France and Czech Republic it is the capitals that users are interested in. Ukrainian users search for trips to Egypt and Europe more than any other users. Belarus users prefer Lithuania and Bulgaria. Kazakhstan Tourist Association has also presented a list of countries that are popular among Kazakhstan citizens in 2011. They are Malaysia, Thailand, Korea and China. Croatia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Slovakia and Kyrgyzstan's Issyk-Kul shore are also of interest to Kazakhstan people.
