Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov has been appointed chairman of the board of Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Fund’s press-service. The board of Samruk-Kazyna was changed by the Government Decree No.1256 dated October 4. Karim Massimov and Bakytzhan Sagintayev were removed from the board. They were replaced with Prime-Minister Serik Akhmetov as the board’s chairman and Kazakhstan Minister of Economic Development and Trade Yerbolat Dossayev,” the message states.
