Kazakhstan exported 40.1 million tons of crude oil and gas condensate in January-July 2012. This is 0.4 percent less in quantity and 12.2 percent less in revenues than in the amount that was exported during the same period last year, KazTAG reports citing the Customs Control Department of Kazakhstan Finance Ministry. According to the website of the Customs Control Department, major importers of Kazakhstan oil include Italy (10.3 million tons worth $8.8 billion), China (5.7 million tons worth $4.8 billion), the Netherlands (5.2 million tons worth $4.5 billion) and France (4.2 million tons worth $3.7 billion). Kazakhstan also exported 2.6 million tons of oil products made of bituminous minerals for $1.7 billion. Diesel fuel export made 57.6 thousand tons worth $42.2 million. 2.5 million tons of oil residue was exported for $1.6 billion. Export of natural gas totaled at 7.3 billion cubic meters worth $1.2 billion.
