Akim of Almaty (the city’s Mayor) Akhmetzhan Yessimov is arranging a bike ride dedicated to Kazakhstan champions and prize-winners of the XXX London Olympic Games, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the Akimat’s (Mayor's Office) press-service. The bike ride is scheduled for August 12 and will start at 08:30 a.m. Almaty time. It will start at the International Ski Jumping Complex. The 12-kilometer long route will run along Al-Farabi Avenue to the West to Rozybakiyev Street, then along Rozybakiyev Street to Abay Avenue and along the Abay Avenue to the Central Stadium (crossing of Abay and Baitursynov streets). Participants of the bike ride should assemble at the territory of the International Ski Jumping Complex at 08:00 a.m.
