Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with former Prime-Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s press-service.
“The meeting covered current issues of the international agenda and implementation of the social modernization strategy in Kazakhstan. The parties also discussed activities of the expert-consultations council,” the press-service states.
Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Nursultan Nazarbayev arrived in London on a working visit. The President was expected to hold a number of bilateral talks and attend the London Olympic Games opening ceremony.
