Kazakhstan President has signed a law on trunk pipelines in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President's website. "The President has signed the Law On trunk pipeline aimed at ensuring efficient, reliable and safe exploitation of the trunk pipeline, enhancement of economic, energy and ecological security of the country, confirmation of the state's priority right to participate in projects of newly-built trunk pipelines, as well as at improvement of the legislation in this sector," the website writes. Nursultan Nazarbayev has also signed the Law On amendments to certain legislative acts of Kazakhstan on trunk pipeline and taxation aimed at bringing the laws in compliance with the Law On trunk pipeline and improvement of the tax legislation.
