Kazakhstan financial police is going to present a draft decree allowing to pay remuneration to Kazakhstan citizens who nose upon stealing officials. The draft decree will be presented to the government in the end of June or beginning of July. The document is called The rules of remuneration of people providing assistance in detection, suppression and resolving corruption crimes and violations, an official representative of the financial police Murat Zhumanbai told Express-K . The Agency's representative did not give the details on the amounts to be paid for the active civil position of the informers and how the remuneration mechanism will work. Zhumanbai promised that the public will be made aware of the decree, should it be approved. The magazine stated that the discussion of financial stimulation of informers started several years ago when the authority was managed by Kairat Kozhamzharov (now governor of Akmola oblast). Meanwhile, a similar draft law has been prepared in the Kyrgyzstan government. According to the documents to be soon submitted to the Parliament, the person informing law-enforcement authorities on the facts of corruption will be able to earn up to 20 percent of the amount stolen from the state budget.
