Kazakhstan does not ban coordinated launches of Russia space vehicles from Baikonur launch pad, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing chairman of Kazakhstan National Space Agency Talgat Mussabayev. “Kazakhstan has never banned the coordinated launches. You know that the launches are annually coordinated with Kazakhstan for Russia. The list is approved and sent to Russia for the whole year. All the other launches, coordinated earlier, are performed in line with the plan. Do not blow it into a political issue,” he told the journalists. “There are no bans from Kazakhstan side,” Mussabayev stressed. Earlier Kazakhstan National Space Agency had complained that it failed to coordinate launches of three carrier rockets from Baikonur with Kazakhstan party, because Astana and Moscow had not then agreed on the new impact area for the detaching parts of the rockets.
