Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift has confidently topped Billboard's list of the top artists of the 21st century, taking the top spot on the "Top Artists of the 21st Century" chart. The list is based on chart performance on the Billboard 200 and Billboard Hot 100 from the beginning of 2000 to the end of 2024.

Even though the pop and country icon didn't make her Billboard debut until July 1, 2006, when she was just 16 years old with the single "Tim McGraw," which she co-wrote, Swift has had an impressive career. Swift holds the record for most number-one albums by a woman on the Billboard 200 with 14. What's more, she's also had 12 Hot 100 number-ones, cementing her status as one of the most influential stars of our time.

Taylor Swift set a new record by topping Billboard's annual Top Artists chart in 2009, 2015, 2023, and 2024. She became the first artist in history to achieve this distinction four times since the category was created in 1981.
