Kazakhstani woman placed under arrest after conflict over music
Tengrinews.kz — A woman was arrested for eight days for petty hooliganism after a conflict at a barbershop in Kokshetau. The decision was issued by the city’s specialized administrative offenses court.
According to the court, the incident occurred in December 2025 at one of Kokshetau’s barbershops. According to the case materials, the visitor made an insulting remark in a public place, showing disrespect toward others and disturbing public order.
During the court hearing, a witness who works as a hairdresser at the salon said that music from different countries was being played in the establishment. The court noted that the offender’s guilt was confirmed by the administrative offense report, her own explanations, the witness testimony, video recordings and other case materials. It was also stated that the woman agreed with the report and raised no objections.
By court ruling, the citizen was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 434 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, “Petty hooliganism.” The court imposed an administrative penalty of eight days’ arrest.
