During a video-conference arranged by RIA Novosti Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the organization said that training of peacekeeping forces of the countries of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in September in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. "Training of collective peacekeeping force of the CSTO will take place in Kazakhstan in September. These are going to be the first trainings of such a scale and we are very serious about them and are preparing them very thoroughly. All the necessary arrangements have already been made, including the relevant talks in Astana with the Defense Ministry chiefs. Some operations have been scheduled for the aviation; they are to be held prior to the trainings," Secretary General of CSTO added. Secretary General hopes that the trainings will be held regularly. "This way we would soon be fully ready to fulfill peacekeeping missions as on the territory of member states and beyond in line with the UN Security Council's mandate," Nikolay Bordyuzha added. Secretary General of the organization also said that some of the trainings will be held in July in Armenia. "I have already told that the trainings will be in Armenia, where all the contingents of Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) will be involved. The trainings are focused on anti-terrorist operations. The idea has been developed and is now being coordinated and considered by respective authorities. And beginning with July we will start implementing this task," Bordyuzha said.
