Russian experts will demonstrate the capacities of the air surveillance and monitoring system with Irkut-3 drone to Kazakhstan military command, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. Irkut-3 was developed and manufactured by Irkut-Engineering. “This February-March a demonstrated of Irkut-3 vehicle will be arranged upon an invitation of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry, President of YAK ALAKON company Aleksandre Toporov told the agency. He explained that Kazakhstan drew up a program for development of unmanned aviation to be implemented until 2020 and YAK ALAKON joint venture was working on its implementation jointly with NET Style that makes mobile satellite communication stations for transferring information to any part of the world. According to Toporov, the drones assembled in Kazakhstan will be named Sunkar. Irkut-3 complex includes two aircrafts and ground control and maintenance equipment. These drones are quite small: the maximum takeoff weight is 3kg at the wingspread of 2m. The drone can stay in the air up to 75 minutes. Its maximum flight speed is 90km/h.
