Unique tank support fighting vehicles (BMPT) manufactured in Uralvagonzavod will be included in the inventory of the Ground Forces of Kazakhstan Armed Force, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports citing the source in Russian military-industrial complex. “Russian Ministry of Defense is currently working on a new look of the armored vehicles for the Ground Forces. It has not yet decided on buying the BMPTs manufactured by Uralvagonzavod that have any equivalents in the world, but the Kazakhstan government has already made the decision to buy a batch of these vehicles for armament of Kazakhstan army,” the agency’s source said. Currently there are 3 units of BMPT in Kazakhstan; they have been successfully tested. “The first batch of 10 BMPTs was bought by Kazakhstan for the Ground Forces and will be delivered to the customer shortly,” a representative of Russian military-industrial complex said.
