Joint tactical trainings of Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of Central Asian region of Collective Security Organization started in Bishkek, AKIpress reports. Militarymen from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Russia are training to performe special operations on liquidation of militants. Military maneuvers are based on the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) training called “Center-2011”. The stage with actual firing will start on September 21 in Ala-Too training center of Kyrgyzstan Defense Ministry. Militarymen will have to block the “enemies”, defeat them and follow them until their full liquidation. The training will finish on September 22. According to the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry, the large-scale joint “Center-2011” strategic training is held in Kazakhstan at the same time. The opening ceremony gathered around 3.5 thousand militarymen from Kazakhstan and Russia at the square of Oimasha training center. The training is led by Commander-In-Chief of Ground Forces of Kazakhstan Military Forces lieutenant general Murat Maikeyev. “Our main objective is to train morally stable, physically fit and qualified staff able to fulfill their mission of protecting their Motherland! I am sure that the goals of the joint training will be achieved,” he noted. The training involves over 550 military vehicles and 19 airplanes. Sea training will involve 43 ships and motor boats owned by Kazakhstan and Russian military forces. Joint training will start on September 20. The first stage will include movement to the line of departure for elimination of imaginary enemy. Interaction and communications will also be covered. According to the press-service, the idea is based on a possible scenario in Central Asia in which the Coalition military group led by Commander-In-Chief of Kazakhstan Ground Forces will be able to take part. Three main subjects will be covered during the CSTO’s strategic event in Kyrgyzstan. The first one is decision-making by management of theCollective Rapid Deployment Forces of Central Asian region during special operations on liquidation of illegal armed groups.The second one is management of forces during military actions and the third one is practical implementation of the military task at the polygon.
