Collective peace-making training of CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) member-states called Infrangible Brotherhood-2012 has been completed near Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. The training started on October 8 and October 15 the participants transferred to the active stage where they trained to operate in different crisis situations. Some of them were demonstrated to the journalists at the completion stage on October 17. Terrorist attack, attack on a base, residents go out on strike and other scenarios were staged at Ili training site. All of them were completed without any personnel losses. “The training was attended by police officers. We were practicing interaction between policemen and Defense Ministries of CSTO member-countries. Our officers have received good practical skills and I have no doubts that, if necessary, we will successfully fulfill our peace-making operations,” head of special aviation division of Russia’s Interior Ministry Vladimir Gorshukov said. The training scenario was as follows: an armed group attacked a road train carrying humanitarian cargo. The militants tried to mix with the crowd of refugees to attack the civilians. Collective peace-making forces hold their positions. They demine the towns, ensuring security and delivery of humanitarian aid. The training involved around 950 people, up to 70 vehicles, 35 armored vehicles and 4 Mi-17 helicopters. According to the manager of the trainings Adylbek Aldabergenov, the personnel of the divisions managed to fulfill the set task. “This is the first time we hold such training and, in spite of that, they have been held on a high level thanks to the teamwork and discussions before the training. The training was held on Shoshkaly, Ili and Bereg training sites with participation of military authorities of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.
