Americans and Italians inspect Kazakhstan military units

Inspectors from the U.S., Turkey and Italy have visited Almaty and Taldykorgan military camps and Otar 40th military base, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of Kazakhstan Defense Ministry.The foreign inspectors visited Kazakhstan in fulfillment of the Vienna Socument 2011 on trust-building and security measures in the framework of the OSCE politico-military dimension.Commanders of the military of Airmobile Forces, Regional Command South and the Air Defense Forces held short briefings where they spoke about objectives an structures of their units. Foreign observers were also given a tour of military vehicles and armament, inspected training processes and routine activities of Kazakhstan militarymen.According to the Ministry’s press-service, the foreign observers spoke highly of the professional level of the military personnel and Kazakhstan’s full performance of its international obligations under the OSCE politico-military dimension.
