65 percent of corruption crimes committed by militarymen in Kazakhstan

Head military prosecutor’s office of Kazakhstan submitted an explanation note on the Corruption Law to Defense Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov in relation to the fact that most of the corruption crimes are committed by militarymen.According to the message on the website of the military prosecutor’s office, the statistics data of military authorities show that in the last two years 65 percent of corruption crimes were committed by militarymen."Most of them are violations of the financial control provisions of the Corruption Law, i.e. failure to submit or submission of incomplete and invalid declarations and information about profits and property,” the message states.“Based on the above, the explanation was sent to the Defense Minister to prevent violations and possible legal consequences,” it states.
