US dollar falls sharply in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – What US dollar exchange rate was set in trading in Kazakhstan on 5 March.

Based on the results of daytime trading on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average US dollar exchange rate amounted to 493.36 tenge, having decreased by 6.13 tenge.

The official rate of the National Bank for 5 March is 499.83 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, at the moment the average dollar rate in exchange offices of Astana and Almaty is as follows:

Average dollar rate in Almaty exchange offices

• buying – 491.75 tenge;
• selling – 494.66 tenge.

Average dollar rate in Astana exchange offices

• buying – on average 491.01 tenge;
• selling – 498.01 tenge.
