Russia and China and the two leader among consumers of Kazakhstan's processed goods, pm.kz writes citing press-service of Kaznex Invest. "105 countries consume Kazakhstan's processed goods. The top 5 countries that import Kazakhstan's processed goods are China, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and Japan," the press-service writes. Processed goods worth $2.6 billion were exported to EU in H1 2012. China imported processed goods worth $2.1 billion, while Russia and Belarus purchased processed goods totally worth $1.8 billion. These countries mainly Imported ferrous alloys, oil products, petroleum gases, refined copper, uranium and zinc. Export to Central Asian countries was worth $698 million in H1 2012. Kazakhstan exported flour, petroleum gases, oil products, power energy and fertilizers to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Kazakhstan's overall export export of processed goods in the first six months of this year made 11.7 billion dollars: 22% more than in the same period of 2011. 25% of these goods were non-extracted goods. Kazakhstan's overall export in H1 made $46.8 billion, which is 10 percent more than in the same period of last year.
