Drop of prices of energy and mineral resources exported by Kazakhstan is inevitable, Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov said, KazTAG reports. “I think that in the nearest time we will see some increase in prices of the resources we export. But this will be a very short period and then the prices will drop inevitably,” Massimov said in Dialog show on Russia’s RBK TV channel on Wednesday. According to PM’s forecast, oil prices drop should be expected “closer to autumn”. “I expect a quite significant increase in April-May and then it will drop to $70-80 (per barrel) when autumn draws near. But this is an optimistic scenario I’m talking about,” Prime-Minister elaborated. In this relation, PM stressed, it is necessary to closely watch the budget incomes and control operations of Kazakhstan companies in this sector.
