Kazakhstan's ban on export of oil products may be prolonged into 2013, KazTAG reports citing deputy director of oil products marketing department of KazMunaiGas Processign and Marketing Talgar Bukobayev. "As you know, Kazakhstan banned export of oil products until the end of this (2012) year. According to Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Ministry, this ban will be prolonged into the next year," Bukobayev said at the conference called Oil Products Market in Central Asia on Thursday. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Ministry neither confirms nor refutes this information. "We will talk about it when there is a government decree," the Ministry's press-secretary told KazTAG. Kazakhstan government introduced the 6-month ban on export of a range of oil products on July 1. In particular the ban covers light distillate, kerosene, gas oils and other oil products (customs code 2710 20 900 0), except for special petrol and common furnace oil.
