Kazakhstan does not plan to extend the ban on exports of fuels and lubricants, Profinance.kz quoted Lyazzat Kiinov, Vice Minister of Oil and Gas, as saying.“We will no longer be able to ban exports, as the Customs Union has its own rules to follow”, he elaborated.Meanwhile, earlier Asset Magauov, Vice Minister of Oil and Gas, told Interfax – Kazakhstan that the state is considering extension of the ban on exports of some types of fuels and lubricants.“The ban might be extended for some types (...) Consultations are to be held with Russia and Belarus within the Customs Union, then a final decision could be taken”, he said at the time.In November 2010 Kazakhstan extended ban on exports of some types of fuels and lubricants, including light distillates, kerosene, gas oil. February 24 the Government issued a resolution to allow limited exports of 3 types of gas oil (145 000 tons) before May 1, 2011.
