Food prIces grew 8.1 percent in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Kazakhstan Statistics Agency's press-office. “Consumer price index in August 2011 was 105.9 percent as compared to December 2010. Prices of food products grew 8.1 percent, nonfood products - 3.6 percent, fee-based service - 5.4 percent,” the Agency said. According to the Statistics Agency, prices of industrial products produced by manufacturing enterprises also grew. This year's index grew 22.8 percent in August compared to December 2010.
