Kazakhstan Agency for Regulation of Natural Monopolies (Anti-Monopoly Agency) has approved new tariffs on oil pumping through the KazTransOil pipeline, Tengrinews reports referring to the press office of the oil transport company. The tariffs will be in effect starting from January 1, 2014. The tariff on oil pumping for export is set at 4850.6 tenge ($31.67) per one thousand ton-km and the tariff on oil pumping for domestic market is 2931.8 tenge ($19.14) per one thousand ton-km. The sum does not include VAT. In the nine-month of 2013, the consolidated transportation and transfer of oil amounted to 49.271 million tons, which exceeded the plan by 3% and last year amounts by 1%. The consolidated oil turnover equaled to 34.107 billion ton-km, which exceeded the plan by 11%. It exceeded the 2012 turnover by 9%.
