Kazakhstan Agency for Natural Monopolies Regulation did not approve the application of KazAeroNavigation for increase rates, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the Agency’s press-service. “Having reviewed the application of KazAeroNavigation requesting an increase in the rates for air navigation services in air space and in airfield for an average of 92 percent starting from January 1, 2013, the Agency left the existing rates unchanged. As a result, the growth of air fares related to KazAeroNavigation services is not expected in the nearest time,” the press-service writes. Earlier KazAeroNavigation applied to Kazakhstan Agency for Natural Monopolies Regulation with a request to raise prices for its services. Such raise would have had an immediate effect on the passengers.
