Customs Union Commission (CUC) approved increasing the costs of duty-free goods to 10 thousand Euro for passengers of international flights, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. The document has been submitted to CU countries for in-state procedures required for its signing at the next meeting of the EurAsEC Intergovernment Council in October 2011. According to the CUC's decision, the regulations will remain the same for the goods, transferred through the borders of the Customs Union by other types of transport. Currently the cost of duty-free goods should not exceed 1.5 thousand Euro and their total weight should not be over 50 kg.
