Tengrinews.kz – The job market in Kazakhstan experienced fluctuations in January, with fewer vacancies and a sharp 2.5-fold increase in the number of resumes, according to the Ministry of Labor.
The most in-demand professionals are in education, healthcare, and the service industry.
Among qualified specialists, the highest demand is for:
- Kindergarten teachers (2,100 vacancies);
- Car drivers and mathematics teachers (1,900 vacancies each);
- Social workers (1,100 vacancies);
- Social educators in schools (625 vacancies).
Despite a high demand for kindergarten teachers, math teachers, and drivers, there remains a shortage of school psychologists, social educators, and mathematics teachers, as job openings outweigh the number of applicants.
Top-paying jobs in Kazakhstan
The highest average salaries are offered in the following positions:
- Site supervisors in the mining industry – from 741,000 KZT;
- Aviation engineers – 693,000 KZT;
- Chief construction managers – 605,000 KZT.
Meanwhile, job seekers in these industries have the highest salary expectations, with pilots and department heads aiming for salaries around 1 million KZT.
