Tengrinews.kz – Yerbolat Dossayev has been appointed to a new position, according to Akorda.
By a decree of the Head of State, Yerbolat Askarbekovich Dossayev has been appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On May 24 of this year, the President relieved Dossayev of his duties as Akim (Mayor) of Almaty, a position he had held since January 2022.
Earlier, during a meeting with Almaty’s city leadership, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov conveyed President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s gratitude to Dossayev for his active work in developing the city’s financial and economic potential.
