Tengrinews.kz - In the next 6 years, the labor market of Kazakhstan will need 1.6 million workers. This was reported by Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Askar Biakhmetov.

In particular, Kazakhstan will need about 900 thousand people with vocational education and more than 400 thousand people with blue-collar jobs.

"Workers are most in demand in the construction, agriculture, manufacturing and healthcare industries. In these industries, the demand for blue-collar jobs will be 56 percent," Biakhmetov said at a briefing by the Central Communications Service.

According to the Ministry of Labor, in construction, the highest demand will be for plasterers, foremen and welders.

In the agricultural sector, demand is expected for farmers, tractor drivers, and cattle breeders.

In healthcare, there will be demand for mid-level medical personnel, ambulance drivers and paramedics.

There will also be a need for seamstresses and clothing restorers, industrial equipment fitters, plumbers and pipe fitters.

According to the Ministry of Labor, the need for workers in Kazakhstan will only increase.
