Tengrinews.kz - Chairman of the Astana Maslikhat Tabigat Zeinulkabden announced a “soon decision” on Astana’s transition to a new work schedule.
A day earlier, the Maslikhat discussed changing the work schedule for central executive bodies (ministries). On the sidelines of the Mazhilis, journalists inquired about the timing of the decision.
According to Tabigat Zeinulkabden, it will be made “in the near future.”
"The akimat is considering this issue of changing the work schedule of civil servants and other organizations. This is necessary in order to reduce the load on traffic. In the city, during rush hours in the morning and evening, traffic jams form, it is very difficult to move, especially between the left and right banks. Today, the (next - ed.) work schedule is being considered: someone will start a little earlier, someone a little later.
We will make this decision in the near future. Previously, this was practiced, if you remember, in 2014-2015. I think it will not take much time," he commented.
Earlier it became known that the work schedule may be changed in Astana.
By the way, all 11 districts of the East Kazakhstan region have switched to "their own time." Starting March 13, employees of government institutions, enterprises, and social services in two districts of East Kazakhstan – Shemonaikha and Glubokoe – will begin work under a new schedule, starting at 8:00 AM.
