According to the committee, Bishimbayev is serving his sentence in a maximum security facility.
"Due to the lack of available positions, he is not employed. The daily routine of the convicted person is followed in accordance with the rules of internal order for penal correction institutions and current penal legislation," the committee stated.
Earlier, it was mentioned what kind of work Bishimbayev might be assigned in the colony. According to Tenezhjan Zhanibekov, Chairman of the Committee of Criminal Executive System the former minister could be employed at "Enbek" in the woodworking or metalworking sectors.
