Tengrinew.kz - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to a request from Tengrinews.kz and revealed who will represent Kazakhstan at the inauguration of the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump.
Kazakhstan will be represented by its ambassador to the United States, Yerzhan Ashikbayev, at the ceremony, which will take place on January 20 in Washington.

Yerzhan Ashikbayev has served as Kazakhstan’s extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to the U.S. since April 5, 2021. From 2013 to 2021, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Donald Trump's Inauguration Day: How the ceremony will take place
The inauguration day of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump will be filled with traditional events symbolizing the beginning of a new presidential term. We have outlined how this day will unfold in a separate article.
At 9:30 A.M. Eastern Time (7:30 P.M. Astana time), musical performances and opening speeches will begin. The culmination will be the swearing-in of Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance, as well as the inaugural address. This event will begin at 10 P.M. Astana time.
The inauguration is a key moment in the transfer of presidential power in the U.S. During this official ceremony, the outgoing president hands over authority to their successor. Traditionally, the inauguration takes place every four years on January 20, precisely at noon local time.
