Who will be jobless in 2025 – disappearing professions named

Tengrinews.kz - The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has named the disappearing professions in Kazakhstan.

In response to a request from the Tengrinews.kz editorial team, the ministry referred to the Atlas of New Professions. According to the information provided, 16 professions are predicted to disappear.

Agriculture

According to forecasts, by 2025 Kazakhstan will no longer need workers such as packers, feed operators, sorters in food production, manual wrappers, and meat product packagers.

Construction

In this sector, by 2025, the need for draftsmen will disappear. By 2030, roofers, insulators, and plasterers will no longer be in demand, and by 2035, the need for construction assemblers and workers in related fields will diminish.

Mining and metallurgical complex

In this sector, the demand for quantity surveyor, inspectors, and visual information gatherers is expected to disappear by 2025. By 2030, professions such as wellheads, bulldozer operators, and separator operators will become obsolete.
