Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for June 2025 in Kazakhstan.
June, the first month of the calendar summer, promises a mix of weather patterns. Unstable conditions are expected throughout the month — alternating between cool and hot spells, accompanied by rain (sometimes heavy), thunderstorms, hail, and squally winds. On some days, dust storms are also possible.
What will early June be like?
Against a backdrop of rising temperatures across all regions, frequent short-term rains are forecast. However, there will be occasional drops in temperature.
West: In the first half of June, nighttime temperatures will drop from +17...+22°C to +7...+12°C, and daytime temperatures from +27...+32°C to +20...+25°C. By the end of this period, daytime temperatures may rise to +25...+32°C.
North and Central regions: A drop in heat is expected by the middle of the first ten days. Nighttime temperatures will range from +10...+15°C (dropping to +7°C in the far north), and daytime temperatures will decrease from +25...+30°C to +18...+25°C.
East: For most of the first period, nighttime temperatures will be between +10...+15°C (up to +20°C in the south), and daytime from +22...+30°C. In the south, it will be hotter during the day — up to +35°C. Cooler weather is expected by the end of the first half of June and into the second ten days.
South: Even nighttime temperatures will be hot — ranging from +20...+28°C, and daytime up to +35...+43°C. However, a slight drop to +28...+33°C is expected by mid-June.
Southeast: Gradual warming is forecast — nighttime temperatures will rise from +10...+15°C to +15...+20°C, and daytime from +20...+25°C to +30...+35°C. In mountainous areas, nights will warm from +2...+7°C to +7...+12°C, and days from +10...+15°C to +20...+25°C. By the end of the first ten days, daytime temperatures will be around +25...+30°C.
Warming in mid- to late June
In the second and third parts of June, in the west, south, and southeast, daytime temperatures on the hottest days will reach +33...+40°C. In the far southwest and south, temperatures may climb to +43°C. On cooler days, they may drop to +22...+27°C.
In the northern half of the country — including the center and east — nighttime temperatures will range from +15...+23°C to as low as +2...+10°C, and daytime from +25...+38°C down to +15...+27°C.
