Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet meteorologists have released a weather forecast for Kazakhstan on February 15, 16, and 17.
According to meteorologists, Kazakhstani residents are already feeling the approach of spring—frosts are weakening, giving way to precipitation and wind. However, after a brief respite, a new cyclone is moving into the country. It will bring rain and snow, and on February 17, even the northern regions will see temperatures rise above zero during the day.
"However, the cyclone will bring not only precipitation and rising temperatures but also gale-force winds with gusts of 23-28 meters per second, expected on February 16 in the Aktobe and Kostanay regions, and on February 17 in the Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions," the statement said.
