Weather forecast for Kazakhstan over the weekend

Tengrinews.kz - Kazhydromet meteorologists have released a weather forecast for Kazakhstan for February 8-10.

According to the forecast, the western and northwestern regions of the country will experience dry weather due to the influence of an anticyclone. Meanwhile, the rest of Kazakhstan will see precipitation, including wet snow and rain in the south, with icy conditions, and snowfall with blizzards and strong winds in the east. Foggy conditions are also expected across the country.

"At night, temperatures in the west will range from -5 to -13°C, in the northwest from -13 to -21°C, and in the north, nighttime temperatures will rise to -7 to -15°C. In the east and central regions, temperatures will range from -12 to -20°C, while in the south, they will drop to -1 to -15°C. In the southeast, nighttime temperatures will fall to -5 to -10°C, with mountainous areas experiencing -13 to -23°C," the statement read.

Kazhydromet has also provided a weather forecast for Kazakhstan on Friday, February 7.
