Tengrinews.kz - Meteorologists have released a forecast for December 26, 27, and 28.
According to the forecast, across most of Kazakhstan, nighttime temperatures will rise to -3°C to -15°C, while daytime temperatures will range from -6°C to +5°C. Only the western regions of the country are expected to see no significant temperature changes.
Overall, the country will experience ground blizzards, fog, strong winds, and icy conditions in the west.
Snowfall is expected nationwide, with mixed precipitation (rain and snow) in the southwest, while the south will remain mostly dry.
Previously, forecasters shared an updated outlook for the winter of 2024/2025 in Kazakhstan, noting that overall, temperatures are expected to be within the climatic norm, with precipitation levels exceeding the long-term average. However, periods of dry weather and abnormally low temperatures are not ruled out.
Kazhydromet has also shared the weather forecast for Kazakhstan on Wednesday, December 25.
