Warm weather up to 20°C is coming to Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – Forecasters at Kazhydromet have presented the weather forecast for 16, 17 and 18 February.

Cyclone to Cover Kazakhstan

Over the next three days, a cyclone moving in from the Ural region will pass across the territory of Kazakhstan, bringing precipitation, icy conditions, and strengthening winds with blizzards.

“However, starting from 18 February, an anticyclone moving in from the Helsinki area will begin to spread into the rear of the cyclone, which will lead to a drop in air temperature and a gradual cessation of precipitation in the north of the country,” the forecasters said.

What about temperatures?

In northern Kazakhstan, nighttime air temperatures will drop to -18…-23 °C.

“In the southern regions, on the contrary, daytime temperatures are expected to rise to +15…+20 °C, which will be associated with the influence of another cyclone moving in from the Black Sea region,” the statement says.
