Video of the plane crash near Astana has appeared

Tengrinews.kz – A video of the crash of the light aircraft Aerostar R40F UP-LA229 near Astana has appeared online.

The video was published by a local community on Instagram.

As a reminder, the incident with the light aircraft occurred on August 17. Two people were killed — the pilot and a passenger. An investigative task force has been created, consisting of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Transport Police Department, and the Akmola region police.

The Aerostar R40F is a small two-seat training and sports aircraft of Romanian production. It belongs to the category of light aircraft: it has a low wing, an aluminum fuselage, and a fixed tricycle landing gear. The plane is equipped with a Rotax engine producing about 100 horsepower and is mainly used for training and recreational flights.
