TV and radio to be switched off in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz — Television and radio broadcasting will be temporarily suspended in Kazakhstan.

According to JSC Kazteleradio, the shutdown is scheduled for April 15 from 3:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.

The company explained that planned maintenance work will be carried out during this period, with services on the technical facilities of satellite, digital, and analog terrestrial broadcasting networks being shut down.

“During the maintenance work, retransmission of TV and radio channels will be temporarily suspended throughout the territory of Kazakhstan,” the statement said.

Kazteleradio explains that this is necessary to ensure high-quality television and radio broadcasting.
