Tengrinews.kz – U.S. President Donald Trump called Kazakhstan's leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev a good man and asked journalists to send him his regards.
The American leader made the statement on Sunday, September 7, as he was leaving the White House to attend the men’s final of the U.S. Open tennis championship.
A reporter asked Trump what he thinks of Kazakhstan and whether he plans to visit the country.
Trump replied that a visit is possible. He also mentioned that he had a good conversation with Tokayev.
“Say hello to him! He is a good man,” the U.S. President said.
As a reminder, on Monday, September 8, the President of Kazakhstan is scheduled to deliver a national address.
