Tengrinews.kz – 2025 has been declared the Year of Skilled Trades in Kazakhstan, according to a message from the Akorda.
In order to raise the prestige of skilled trades and implement reforms in the system of technical and vocational education, the President has decreed:
- To declare 2025 the Year of Skilled Trades.
- The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan is to take necessary measures for the implementation of the Year of Skilled Trades.
- The Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be responsible for overseeing the execution of this decree.
- This decree will come into effect on the day of its signing.
As a reminder, in September of this year, during his Address to the People of Kazakhstan, the Head of State emphasized the importance of reforming vocational education.
According to him, the reform is important for ensuring economic growth and enhancing its investment attractiveness.
"I declare 2025 the Year of Skilled Trades. During this time, we will implement a reform of the technical and vocational education system. The Year of Skilled Trades will also promote the ideas of hard work and professionalism in our society," the President previously stated.
The Head of State emphasized that it is necessary for people who achieve success through honest, hard work to always be respected and honored.
