Tengrinews.kz – The President of Kazakhstan welcomed the President of Slovenia at the Akorda Residence, according to an official statement from the Head of State.
A ceremonial welcome was held at the Akorda residence for Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit.
"The presidents introduced members of their delegations to each other, after which the commander of the honor guard company delivered a welcome report. The event was accompanied by the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Slovenia," the Akorda press service noted.

Following the ceremony, the heads of state proceeded to the meeting hall for talks.

Earlier reports stated that during her visit, Natasa Pirc Musar is scheduled to hold negotiations with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, during which key issues of bilateral cooperation in the trade-economic, investment, transport, and cultural-humanitarian spheres will be discussed.
Special attention will be given to the development of business ties. As part of the visit, a Kazakh-Slovenian business forum will also take place. Slovenia is actively promoting initiatives in ecosystem protection and sustainable development.
