Tokayev welcomed the Prime Minister of Georgia in Astana

Tengrinews.kz — An official welcoming ceremony for Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze was held in Astana, citing Akorda.

A formal welcoming ceremony for the Prime Minister of Georgia, who arrived in the country on an official visit, took place at the Palace of Independence.

During the ceremony, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Irakli Kobakhidze introduced the members of their respective delegations to each other.

The commander of the Guard of Honor delivered a welcoming salute, followed by the national anthems of Kazakhstan and Georgia.

Notably, the President of Kazakhstan held a telephone conversation with the Georgian Prime Minister in February. During the call, which was held at the initiative of the Georgian side, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Irakli Kobakhidze discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of Kazakh-Georgian relations.
