Tengrinews.kz – Kazakhstan, as a responsible member of the international community, remains firmly committed to the principles of open trade and the free movement of goods and services. This was stated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during a meeting with the public in Shymkent, according to Akorda.
As the Head of State noted, Kazakhstan builds its relationships with all partners based on mutual trust, open dialogue, and consideration of each other's interests.
“Trade is the engine of progress and prosperity. Kazakhstan, located at the crossroads of major routes, must effectively leverage its strategic position. We actively participate in international transport and logistics projects and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation with our neighbors. Our foreign policy remains balanced and stable. There is a Kazakh proverb: ‘Korshi akysy – tanir aqysy’ (‘To treat your neighbor well is to repay a debt to God’). We maintain friendly relations with all neighboring states and pay special attention to this. Under no circumstances do we stand aside if our neighbors face hardship. We are deeply interested in ensuring peace and stability in our surrounding region,” the President emphasized.
Earlier, it was reported that the Head of State had also commented on the instability in international markets.
