Tokayev: We hope for the opening of Kazakhstani schools in Russian cities

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that cooperation in the field of education between the two countries is being enriched with special significance.
"In our plans is the opening of Russian schools in the southern regions of our country. In turn, we hope for the establishment of Kazakhstani schools in cities of Russia near the border with Kazakhstan," Tokayev stated in his article.
The head of state noted that around 60,000 Kazakhstani students are currently studying in Russian educational institutions.
Previously, the Russian publication Izvestia published an article by the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, titled "Kazakhstan and Russia: New Horizons of Strategic Partnership."
Let us recall that, at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in Kazakhstan on November 27 for a state visit. During the visit, high-level talks will take place. The heads of state will participate via videoconference in the 20th Kazakhstan-Russia Interregional Cooperation Forum.
On November 28, under Tokayev's chairmanship, the next session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held. Delegations from member countries will discuss pressing issues of regional and international security. A number of documents are expected to be adopted following the session.
