Temgrinews.kz – The head of state got acquainted with the work of the Bolashak mine in Khromtau, according to the message of Akorda.
On December 10, the President arrived in Aktobe region. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's working visit to Aktobe region began with a visit to the Bolashak mine, the design capacity of which is 7.5 million tons of chrome ore per year.
The head of state was informed that 1,800 jobs will be created at the facility with an investment volume of more than one trillion tenge. The mine is one of the largest investment projects of the ERG group.
"The enterprise is developing two deposits—Millionnoe and Almaz-Zhemchuzhina. Advanced technologies and modern equipment are used in the extraction process, including an intelligent drilling rig with automatic drilling mode, remote surface control, and a fully automated hoisting machine," noted the press service of Akorda.
According to the head of ERG, the launch of the Bolashak mine at the Donskoy Mining and Processing Plant is a historic event for Kazakhstan's mining industry.
